Took the day off work today so I went to the range to get some more trigger time with my Savage.

The range. Reasonably flat out to the 100 yard stand. The 200 & 250 yard target stands go way up hill... not the best for general sighting in, but you take what you can get.

My two best groups from the trip. The flier in each was the last shot of each group. The one I knew I pulled... the other just appeared. Oh well, I'm getting better.

What distance were you shooting at for those targets?

I need to try some of the .308 Black Hills. I've used their .223 before and I really liked it, I would imagine the experience would be the same with their .308.

It has shot as well as FGMM for me, and is usually way cheaper, depending on where you get it. Really though, now that I'm shooting better I should probably re-compare the two. I have a couple of boxes of Hornady TAP 168gr that I need to check groups on too...
