had an AWESOME time at the AR15.com meet at the range today! brought my AR15, 10/22, and USP.

there were about 30 people from our group there and we took up the whole range.

one guy had an M16 and an MP40 that i got to shoot (videos will come later!) didn't get any pics of them, my battery went out, but other ppl from the group got pics and vids. just gotta wait for them to email them to me.

took my friend Emm for her first time shooting. she took it like a champ. the first few rounds she fired from the USP made her scream, and it was hilarious watching her shoot the full autos. videos of that will come later.

    anyway, here are the pics:

Your stance sucks. Both of you, lean forward a little. Otherwise :bigthumb:

I was gonna make some remark about your aeropostale jacket but Emm is hot so I'll let you slide. Nice pics.

Same here, I keep meaning to leave my clear lenses in my truck but always forget too do it, only wear eye protection 50% of the time at indoor range.

i don't wear eye protection unless i'm shooting something metal, and in every one of those pics, the gun was pointed downrange. she had her finger on the trigger b/c she JUST finished shooting.

    Your girl is cute.

Its hard to tell but is she holding the AR a lil high on the shoulder?

As long as everyone had fun and was safe its all good.

I dont always wear mine either so I really got no room to preach, the one place I should wear it at the indoor range where chances of brass or something bouncing back and hitting are high, but stil a good idea to always wear it never know when a brass can hit ya in the eye or your nieghbors glock could kaboom :eek3:

she's too small to hold it normally. she couldn't get a good cheek weld without holding it that high.

What a shitty reason not to wear eye protection. Guns never blow up or anything. Brass never flies around or anything. Doctor's can fix everything else, eyes can't be fixed.

I don't worry as much because I don't own any kind of automatic so the only chance of powder/gas/whatever getting into my eyes/face (I'm a lefty) is only if I have some sort of failure. I do make sure I have some on when shooting my muzzleloader though because a small amount of gas escapes from the primer and since I have my cheek on the right side of the stock its even worse for me :o Again, I know I should wear it every time but I don't :hs:

I try to wear mine all the time but sometimes they get forgotten like I said I need to keep the clear lenses in my truck, my last range bag broke so I dont have a setplace for all my range supplies at the moment :hs: Never been hit in the eye or saftey glasses yet but I've been nailed in the cheek and forehead by brass a few times
