I am having a problem with my PC losing signal to my monitor or just randomly rebooting. When I turn it on windows will get to the logon screen and then it reboots as the sceen is loading. If I reboot in safe mode, I can log in, but it will eventually reboot again(or I just lose my monitor signal, it seems to be completely random. When I boot in safe mode XP tells me that the system instability is caused by the video driver. I've reinstalled the newest driver and tried rolling back to a previous one. My video card works fine in a friend's computer. I've heard that if the power supply is acting up that it can cause instability that XP might report as another problem.

Anyone have a clue what could be wrong? Any suggestions would be great.

do you have another PSU that you can test with?

Also could be the mobo. Try a new video card in your system and see what happens. Preferably ATI (I like nVidia better, but since you have nvidia now, try an ati to eliminate a driver problem)
