    Cool post.

This shows why there are three judges, instead of one.

Whats done, is done, we can't change it. I think it should have been a draw, but honestly to get outclassed by Forrest is enough to deserve a loss lol. Rampage was so cocky throughout the whole thing, and he honestly did nothing to improve his game in the beginning and ate a lot of strikes he could have avoided. Forrest as bad as he is at doing anything, made it appear he was doing better. I know a lot of those strikes did nothing but frustrate, but honestly even that is a tactic.

As it's been said, he shouldn't have left it to the judges.

    .

Fights (and decisions) like this just show the glaring ignorance of some MMA fans.

The only judge that wasn't completely retarded was Nelson Hamilton.

Because not a whole lot happened in the round until Forrest was DROPPED and nearly KO'ed by sed punch... and then spent the last minute of the round holding on w/ Rampage in his guard trying not to get finished... I've never seen a guy win a round in which he was very nearly finished... Hell, this was the closest either guy came to getting finished in the whole fight...

Rampage dodged an unbelivable amount of strikes, his head movement was unbelievable. In the first round in a half Page ate a few leg kicks looking for the early KO, a sacrifice that cost him round 2 and maybe the judges hearts.

If you minus the earlly leg kicks by Forrest, theres no question that Page was far more technical and devasting with his strikes. Griffin just kept of throwing everything and the kitchen sink, landing a few percentage solid strikes.

He dodged a lot of head strikes, yes, but leg kicks are just as much part of the game as anything, and the fact he let himself eat them says a lot for his stand up game. If I were his next opponent, hell even all Machida has to do is stay outside, jab, leg kick that motherfucking tree till he falls over in pain. If a sloppy Griffin, who has some of the worst technique to grace a champion, can land those, so can anyone else. He left a big hole open for the rest of the world to see it.

I know Griffins punches really meant shit, I was watching the same fight, a lot of those punches didn't have any force and 80% of his kicks lacked any real power, infact I would call it a jab with the foot lol. Jackson did not look that great out there, he had a few rounds, but I believe in my opinion he got outclassed that night.

I'm not saying I 100% agree with the decisions but I understand where they were coming from. There have been way worse decisions in the sport so I don't see why everyone is so worked up about this. :dunno:

So did I honestly. Page won round 1 forrest won rd 2 and the rest were roughly even 2 of which I'd lean toward page.

Two ways to look at it.

Rampage steals round one with the knockdown because he is closer to winning the fight, forrest steals round 4 with the triangle attempt.

    or

Forrest wins round one because he outfought rampage for 80% of the round. Rampage wins round 4 because he out fought forrest for 51% of the round.

    I saw things the latter.

Either way, forrest still wins the fight three rounds to two.

There is a difference between a knock down and a very weak submission attempt

There is a difference between watching the fight with Rogan/Goldie influencing your opinion and watching it on mute.
