did he actually injure his knee or was he just hurt?
Either way, that was a hell of a good plan by Griffin.
It's hard to get a bunch of power behind a punch when you can't turn into it.
That was fucking bullshit, honestly.
I think he hurt it real bad. Watch after the Rogan interview, he limps out of the cage.
it seemed like he didnt want to hold onto the title.
even for having a hurt knee, he seemed like he wasnt trying.

who knows it doesnt look like he had an injury like that because he still managed to fight through it, he will probably need some time off to let it heal but nothing serious.
Good looking out Doc.
dana said quinton went to the hospital because he was having trouble breathing, and that we should all pray for him
I heard he trained at ATT for this fight, and we should be hearing the excuse any day now.
This is an awkward opinion but I believe Forrest beat Rampage but not enough to win a title.
Had it been a regular fight Forrest won 100%, but I don't think Forrest won decisively enough to take the belt.
If he was down here I'd of been in the gym 9 times a day. Alas he was not. He'd of known how to check a kick.
Speaking of which, He was being kicked directly in the knee....Isn't there a rule about directly attacking joints?
What? I really think there is.
I dunno about that rule in a leg kick though. I've never seen anyone warned over it.
Maybe it applies to only stomping the knee
The only time I've really seen a ref stop them is when they are kicking a downed opponent in the knee area and make the person stand up. You gotta be right on the stomping part.
it's a rule only on small joint manipulation, not striking a joint. You've brought this up before.
You can strike joints all you want, look at anyone on their back kicking at the opponent's knees to get space.
True you bring up a valid point.
soo he beat Rampage but he didn't?? Pretty much Rampage didn't do enough to win....Wait, WAT?
yeah because if your get kicked in the knee in a fight thats your bad, at this level in the game every one should at least know how to check a kick.
I bet even Mayweather could check a single kick twice lol.
That's more sarcasm though since checking a kick isn't as easy as it seems. I mean we also get a sweet view where we can see wide sweeping motions from the start of a kick. I just think Griffins technique was so sloppy and slow that even I could have checked those kicks and I fucking suck at that.
