In the ring, yes. In the cage, hard to tell. Chuck relies a LOT on the fence, so he'd have a slight advantage in the cage.

by the way i wouldn't be suprised at all if Dana makes a big announcement at UFC59 that Rampage has been signed by UFC

True. I hope he stays in PRIDE though personally. The LHW division there is much more challenging.

why would you want him to stay in pride... theres no way hes gonna fight silva again, and no way he'd beat shogun.. he basically fought ever LHW there besides lil nog and overeem

I like him too much to see him flop around in the UFC. Not to say he'll dominate the division, but there's a lot more versatile fighters in PRIDE that I'd like to see him matched up against.

i agree...better matchups in PRIDE than in UFC....only big one in UFC people care about is Rampage vs Lidell...couture is gone...i wouldn't be too excited to see Rampage vs Babalu...anyways i'm disappointed with Rampage overall...he's turned out just like Jens Pulver in that he doesn't care about winning a title at all...just wants to be an entertaining fighter which is cool...but i want to see Rampage's full potential.

:werd: i fucking love him...he and bas are the most entertaining personalities in mma....and since bas isn't fighting anymore...i really wanna see rampage in UFC and talking his shit to chuck....

also i agree with what's already been said and that the cage would make this fight a very close one

Rampage would make millions, upon millions for the UFC. I dont think there is a single person in MMA easier to advertise then Rampage. His street soldier persona would sell PPV's like a mother fucker. Plus there are some good match ups for him at UFC, as much as I hate to admit it. Even if he stays at Pride, I'm stoked, but I dont see very many good matches for him. Unless, he manages to finally beat Wandy, but then again, he stated he does not want to fight twice a night, Pride style.

Aslong as Rampage fights, and I can watch it on PPV I'll be stoked.

rampage playing a FPS and talking shit to silva in portuguese was the most entertaining shit EVER.

I think rampage would be a HUGE draw in the UFC, but i'd still wanna see him fight the elite LHW's

Also, things like knees to a downed opponent from side mount is Rampage's specialty. He's too patient on the ground, and for even the fact that he'll take it to the ground won't go over as well in the UFC. He needs a 10 minute round to get his juices going. His personality is very marketable here in the US, but not his necessarily his fighting style.

tru dat, chuck's sprawl is no match for arona's ground game

wandy vs chuck would be a better fight to watch though, striker vs striker...that would be bad-ass
