Is there a way to find out what type of ram I have in my computer? I seemed to have lost the packaging...

usually you can type in all the codes into google from the sticker on the ram and find out - i mean, assuming the sticker doesn't flat out tell you what it is

Look up the make and model of the motherboard and it will tell you what kind of RAM it has

Is it a brand name computer or a built one? Also, alot of times you can find out by pulling out the RAM, many will have a sticker.
