I am looking into upgrading the RAM in my current system. Right now it has two of these:

    Nanya Technology DDR2-SDRAM PC4300 - 256 MBytes

Looking to replace them with either of these:

The computer is a Dell Dimension 9150 with Pentium D. The first link is PC2 5300 and the 2nd is PC 4300. Is it possible to upgrade like that? I've never upgraded RAM before, so what else do I need to know? Looking to upgrade to 2GB, so I'm also open to any other suggestions.

Memory is backward compatible and most likely run on slower speed if you use two different speeds.

Do *not* mix DDR-2 speeds and brands.

Of the two you gave, go with OCZ, but I would take Corsair over both.
