I put togther a pc about 6 months ago. The specs are as follows

    Gigabyte GA-K8NXP-SLI
    AMD 64 3200+
    Ati X700 pro 256meg
    Kingston Hyper X PC3200 DDR400 KHX3200AK2/1G x2 2 gig total

The system runs great. I was lookin in the bios and it says it running at 333 instead of 400 though. I know there things you can change to get it running the right speed but I have no clue. Is there anyone here that could give me a hand correcting this? Thanks

I have an asus not gigabyte so I cant help you with the bios settings, but check your motherboard manual.

The 64's have a dual channel memory controller to get more bandwidth. Make sure you have the ram in the correct sockets for dual mode. After that check the settings, should be somthing like dram frequency, maybe even frequency multiplier.

You shouldnt have to change anything if you get them the right way around and leave everything 'auto' until you know what it does.
