I have two ram sticks in my laptop, 256mb 2700 and 512mb 2700, When i run CPU-Z it says its frequency is 166.1 Mhz. I thought it was supposed to run at 333. Is tit supposed to be at 166?

i am not positive but I believe PC2700 is also DDR333 which runs at 166MHz, and DDR400 runs at 200MHz, half the DDR*** number
i am also not sure why RAM needs three different speed classifications

WRONG! Your system is not dual-channel... Your chipset does not support it.
