    yeah
I made another thread several days ago in the main forum but it was no help. I recently bought two more sticks of 512mb ram, so I am using all for DIMM slots. When I added the ram my pc wouldnt post and I was having a lot of problems. So I got the latest BIOS with you guys advice and that cleared it all up. I put the RAM in and it runs fine.

Now my problem... When I run CPU-z it tells my that they are all running at the same speed but the timings on the two new sticks are different. Old timings are 2-2-2-5, the new stuff seems to be runing at 3-4-4-8. Everything is working fine but I am not sure why it is doing this. They are all four the exact same sticks of ram...any help on this?

    4x512mb PQI Turbo
    ASUS A8V deluxe

I contacted both ASUS and PQI before I purchased it and the said it would run just fine.

Odd thing is is that it runs great with the timings mixed like they are :dunno: I would still like it to be like it is supposed to be though.

Have you tried going into your bios and specifing the ram speeds manually?
