Ram? and timings?

    hey guys im going to ditch my old no name ram upgrade my ram to a gig and i wanna start it off on the right foot so i decided to ask ot
    what brands would you guys recommend
    im considering muskin but im not to interested in overclocking which is what i hear muskin is for. its a relativly new system that i half salvaged half bought.
    and could you guys explain timings to me? i never quite understood that:wiggle:

    if i already didn't purchase OCZ VX I would probably purchase Mushkin Blue. It is without a doubt the best ram for the price on the market. Usually CH-5 or BH-5 chips.
