I'm not, but it seems like we've had a lot come in here lately :wavey: I'm just curious to see who's recently picked up a Mac and what you all think of it :)

i picked up a mac, but I am not a "switcher" someone who "switches" would have ditched the pc for a mac, thus completing a "switch". I did not switch. I simply picked up a mac to complement my pcs'.

I wouldn't say I've "switched", but it's more of a process. I started off by dabbling in linux for a while. Then around last August or so, I got a 12" ibook as my "leap" into the mac world. This week, I got a 20" cinema display. Though it's hooked up to my pc, it's apple. That probably doesn't count for much though. I am interested in getting another mac of some sort later this year, after Tiger comes out. I'm afraid I won't be able to completely ditch windows until it gets more game support though. Games are the single only reason why I keep windows around.

Well, I "switched" just this Monday when I finally picked up my PowerBook G4. :)

If I was working on my assignments and doing research, I used eMacs at school.

They have Dell computers and eMacs. Almost always, many people are waiting in a long line to use Dell computers but not many people were using Macs so I didn't have to wait in a line to use Macs.

So I started to use Macs at school and I really loved it. I had so much problems with my Windows PC at home and when my hard drive died, I decided to buy Apple.

    I really love it.

I switched in 1985 when I was 3 years old, and I've had Macs ever since.
