Cardio is sooo much better if there's some competitiveness in it. First time playing, and I lost every time, but it was still fun as hell and I was drenched afterwards.

So in conclusion, I give racquetball a :bigthumb:

I used to play all the time until the local ymca replaced their courts with a McDonalds-esque play structure. I fucking hate kids.

    of course

It is fun and all, but I don't feel it's nearly as demanding as other "sporty" cardio methods such as bball, swimming, free-running, etc.

It's damn fun! I'm completely drenched after playing 3 singles matches. I'm all out on the court ... diving, climbing walls, etc. Need to take it easy with the diving, or I'll probably end up diving head on into the wall one of these days. I'm not a huge fan of doubles. Gets too crowded and you don't get as good a work out. I also got drilled right in my ear by some douche who was no good while playing doubles. Hurt like he11 and my ear was ringing for the next 3 hours.
