posted these in the main forum a little while ago, figured I would get some real feedback on them :)

tips and advice are always appreciated

they are probably all post processed like crap though because I've been borrowing a computer (until mine gets here) and the monitor on it sucks, I'm really not sure how badly though :o

all were taken with the 10-22 or the 70-200 F4L, both with CPL's :o

and you're pretty limited on good places to take pictures at that track unless you have full access, which I really need to figure out how to get :o

the PP on #2 is pretty obvious (excessive highlight/shadow tool.. halo effect).

So very true.. at a recent drag meet I had to shoot from the grandstand using a 100-400 because didn't have media access down the startline etc.. Still with enough zoom/luck can get good pics :big grin:

Those pics you took look good I've still goto get my butt out to a circuit meet here and see how pics turnout.

Too much halo especially in the 2nd picture. Just look around their heads. WIth an aura like that, they must be angels.

I can see this type of PP being ok in some situations, but in this one, it almost hurts my eyes.

werd, be careful with the highlights part of shadow/highlights.

or use recovery in lightroom, its much better.
