Make sure you take advantage of the track day staff in helping you out at the track.

This will be my first track day so hopefully I learn a lot of new things.

Would love to get my knee to the ground though. We'll see.

I'm flipping psyched. Oh yeah it's also probably gonna be 100F too. Wish me luck

Try not worrying about getting your knee down, that'll come as you get faster. Guys have told me stories of how they would be coming around a corner w/ their knee dragging asphalt and there would be Jason Pridmore (will be taking his school in Sept. :big grin: ) railing around them 2 up w/ his knee still 2 feet off the ground.

Pretty much it is all about your line, find one that works for ya. One that limits your inputs, should only have one input on the clipon. Become smooth, you'll be stupid fast

What track are you going to? If you're doing WSIR (Big Track) at Willow Springs it will be hot like you said (probably 100+.) I'll be there sunday! :wiggle: Do you ever ride ACH (Angeles Crest Highway)

Don't push it that much at the track then. I know a friend who takes his commuter to the track.

Just ride 75%, you'll have an extra 25% to recover :)

Riding at the track has actually made me a much better rider on the street.

If it's hot at WSIR, it's hot at Buttonwillow :hs:

    You'll post pics right :x:

I'm at ACH sometimes on the weekends :hsd:

I was planning to go as a spectator but it's my mom's birthday sunday. Two of my buddies are going so if anyone sees a pair of riders, one is a silver 05 zx6r and the other one is a 05 ducati 749 (base model), let me know if you pass their asses up :)

Yep I know how you feel.
