I've been out of the R/C car loop for about 6 years so I don't really know much anymore. I'm looking for a on-road, 4wd car. what would you guys recommend?
    also, what motor, ESC?
I think I should be able to find my Airtronics XL2P somewhere...

I ended up going off-road, since I don't really have much space to drive an on-road around here. I wanted the HPI RS4 MT, but I ended up getting a RC10T4 team kit, Novak Brushless Super Sport, and an Airtronics MX3 to control it cuz I couldn't find my XL2P :( What do you guys have? What're good forums for R/C car info? I've mostly been checking out RCUniverse...

It seems to me that nitro is so much better because you can run longer. Batteries are so freaking expensive for those little boogers.

Post some pics.. I also am looking into getting a car.

I had a nitro truck a while ago. They're really fun and fast, but more to maintain, messier, and u can't run them in as many places. Like at night cuz u'll wake up neighbors. And in the house. These brushless setups are really fast and efficient. I dunno if I'll ever go back to nitro

  12. Team XRay T1-EVO. It's a kit and it doesn't come with a controls, motor, or a body cover, but it's the best damn chassis out there. Of course, this only does you any good if you know how to/feel like building one.

RC10T4. the headlights and taillight are LEDs I added so I can see which way it's facing at night.
