i went to their website and they only offer the low-carb nutrition info but none for the regular subs. i was curious to know if quinzo's subs were a decent place to consider to eat at for cutting?

im guessing theirs about 400-500cals per small sub on their menu? last night was the first time trying their and i got the small black angus beef steak sub...:yum:

Quiznos has been criticized repeatedly for not releasing their nutritional information on all of their subs. There are only 3 listed on their site.

:werd: i used to work at a quiznoes back in the day for about a year. I gained a shitload of weight stuffing my face full of subs. But my favorite bulking food right now is the large black angus + another small one. No mustard extra spicy dressing.

Well I sent them an e-mail suggesting that they provide the nutritional information of their sub sandwitches on their website. And I also put some information about it hurting their business and some other bullshit.

It must have gotten their attention, because I already got a response.

So basically they gave me the corporate "Fuck off"

all the meat they use is top of the line. i tell you the truth, the meat is not ground up super proccesed stuff like subway. i hear that most of subway meat is flavored turkey or chicken.

the meat comes shipped to us in huge chunks and we have to cut it up each day with a meat cutter like butchers have. i love eating huge left over chunks by its self when no one is watching. same with cheese.

i think subway meat comes pre cut and pressed and shit.

Ok, on to my next question, can you ask your dad why they discontinued the Santa Fe Smoked Turkey. I fucking loved that thing, none of the other subs compare anymore! :wtc:

if i remember correctly, they only thing different about that sub is that it had a special sante fe sauce on it. they could prob. make an almost identical sub minus that sauce. (damn that sauce was bomb though) they have like 15 other sauces there. a honey mustard would be similar i think but not as spicy.

they have a rolling limited time offer sub slot that changes quarterly.

    santa fe smoked turkey:
Sliced smoked turkey breast, bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, Santa Fe Sauce on Italian Ciabatta Bread

here is a Honey Mustard Chicken
Chicken, bacon, Swiss, lettuce, tomato, red onion, Honey Mustard Dressing on Italian Ciabatta Bread

if i were you i would order a "HONEY MUSTARD CHICKEN WITH SMOKED TURKEY (instead of chicken) AND CHEDDER (instead of swiss)"
should be almost the exact same thing

I only have two qualms about quiznos...

1.) They throw away the ends of the buns.... THATS THE BEST PART!

    2.) Their shit is expensive.

i agree with you on both parts, i don't think i would eat here regularly if i didn't eat them for free.

when the person you order the sub from grabs the bread, just tell em them if you can have the end pieces not cut off, they should have no problem doing that. unless you get a middle piece that has no ends.

they are spose to be have some sort of happy hour right now after 3:00pm. like 2 smalls for 5 dollars or 3 smalls for 9 dollars? my dad was bitching today about this hahah

the one that i worked at, we had to precut the bread and we saved all the end pieces and this one homeless guy always used to come and pick em up after each shift. He was cool as hell.

and stay away from the subs that on "the real deal menu" because the bread they use for those subs are wack (they are like hot dog buns), except for when you order the meatball and steakhouse dip (the bread matches these subs good)

if you do want a sub from "the real deal menu" ask to have it made on the normal baguette bread instead, they shouldn't charge you extra.

yeah, thats old school, must have been like a couple of years ago at least. i remember just standing there cutting bread for like 2 hours at a time. way easier now. we use to save the ends and make mini subs when no one was around.

    oops reread, i just edited.

wack=hot dog bun style, not as good, just regular old white bread. cheaper, not as high quality.

the best thing you can get at quiznos though is the white choclate chip cookie, but ask them to run it through the sandwhich oven. you will cream your pants.

Without the beautiful sauce its just not the same.

I really like the meatball still (I ate a lot of them while I bulked), but its no santa fe smoked turkey.
