Quicktime 7 blows

    It freezes everytime I open more than one movie at once on my g4. i used to be able to watch 10 movies at a time if I wanted to with v.6.

    7 works fine for me
     
  3. Are you running Mac OS 10.4? That may be your problem.

    im using 7 and 10.4 and dont have problems.
     
  6. Is your machine properly cooled? Are you getting errors with anything else? Do you have any third party drives connected?

    Quicktime has always been exceptionally slow for me. I use VLC and it works fine for everything I need it for...
     
  8. 10.3.4+ systems have problems with some third party drives.

    10.3.9 and quicktime 6.x were awesome 10.4 and quicktime 7 is a different story

    10.4.2 seems to have fixed this problem. :bigthumb: :bigok:

    there were something like 10 problems wrong with 10.4.1., another being syncing
