hey guys, i picked up a 2001 prelude last month and last night while making a sharp u-turn i noticed some slipping in my tire.
today when i was filling up for gas i noticed a crack on the side of the front tire. (I'm assuming its fro my u-turn) I've driven on it for about 45 miles since i noticed it, probably 65 from when i did the u-turn. i know nothing about tires so do u guys think this looks like it's drivable?
i kinda screwed myself over with this car and didn't really thing about insurance when i bought it and only work 1 day a week and go to school full time so im trying to save my money.

Don't even think about driving on that. Get a spare tire and get it replaced ASAP

If your other tires have that much tread life on them then you might as well replace all 4.

actually, swap one of your rear tires to the front, and put the spare on the back, since you don't want to go fucking up your drive train to much.

ey thanks for letting me know... i took it to the closest tire place and they told me to take it back to the dealership i got it from because it turns out the suspension is bad and the tire rubs on the car when i make turns or hit bumps on the road... luckily i got warranty from the dealership
    thanks again

Good thinking, but make sure you rotate the same side, since those are directional. I had an 2000 Prelude with the same tires, except I had the stock 16s. But yeah, don't drive on that.
