Quick, simple noob question.

    Lately I haven't been eating much protein and I have noticed that I have lost muscle. :hs:

    Now I don't work out but I have actively worked on increasing my protein through shakes/tuna/more meat generally and I have been getting arm and leg cramps/charlie horses/soreness.

    Is this a sign of muscle growth?

    why are you expecting your muscles to grow if you dont work out?

    cramps = dehydration

    Lots of people don't work out yet they still have some muscle.

    For instance, a lot of you people who go to the gym work desk jobs... When I work an 8 hour shift at a fast food joint I consider that a pretty good work out...

    Now can what I described be muscle growth or what?

    As he said, cramps = dehydration. That doesn't mean muscle growth.

    Like everyone says.. dehydration.. it could also be a potasium deficiency. i would look into it. DONT just take potasium supliments unsupervised.. to much potasium WILL stop your heart.

    i remember cramped legs when i was in the keys, all me and my friends drank was beer and liquor from 4pm friday to 3 pm sunday,with the occasional water :hsugh:
