GUN quick question

    is turners a decent place to buy a gun? do they have pretty fair prices? i live in CA so i cant really buy from out of state. i am going to buy my first gun probably within a week or so and was just wondering if anybody knew any other stores aroudn southern california with good prices. thanks in advance.

    What kind of gun are you lookin for.

    Shotgun- Big 5 sporting goods

    rifle/handgun- gun shop or even gun show.
    Remember if you buy from a gun shop, you are not only buying a gun, but building a relationship with that gun shop, so expect to pay a little more for it, but you get service and such without the "bought elsewhere" attitude.

    guns in general are freaking expensive in CA. if you buy used, you don't have to pay tax and only the $35 transfer fee.

    There's no extra "tax", just a $25 background check and $15 lock

    purchased one today. ended up with a springfield xd .40 service. 10 days and counting. i had originally purchased the sub compact, but i changed my mind and changed my order today.
