Quick question on PWO nutrition

    Im 5'5 164lbs

    How many carbs / protein do I need pre-workout and how many do I need post-workout?

    Do not look in the nutrition EDU. It might actually help you.

    andrew is correct... you can find the answer plus lot more there

    plus you could be a 5% bf or 25% bf

    doubt both types will require the same amount of calories pre and post

    Well ya I was reading that and I did come to a bit of confusion. It says that it dosent matter when you take them as long as you consume the needed amount of proteins and carbs in a day. The complication arises when I take into account that our bodies can only assimilate a certain amount of protein at a time.

    So that means if we take too much protein at one time, it may not be accounted for??

    Fix your total daily intake.
    Divide it more or less according to the number of meals that you want (3 to 6).
    Try to put some food as close to the workout as you can.
    That's it.

    So as long as you get 3 meals with at least 1 close to your workout, you should be more than fine. Add snacks as you like. Or divide this in 6 smaller meals.
