can you not heat up whey? I keep reading that it gets "denatured" when heated, but it'll get denatured in your stomach anyway. Anyone know anything about this?

I tried to make "hot chocolate" with chocolate whey one time and there was fucking foamy shit all over the place.

everything you cook gets denatured.....the flipside is that our stomachs and enzymes have an easier time digesting the protein when it is cooked (cell walls broken down somewhat). It really depends on how long and at what temp i believe.

    :werd:

ON's whey (and probably other wheys) don't mix well at all with hot water. Tried to make a nice hot vanilla drink with ON Vanilla Whey + boiling water in a shaker.

Doesn't mix well, the clogs taste filthy and it's rough on your throat.

But then ACURA made protein pancakes so maybe they can work in heat :dunno:
