I haven't really found an answer to this anywhere.

When doing squats, do you want to keep the majority of your weight on the balls of your feet, and have your heels barely touching the ground, or do you want to stay flat-footed throughout?

I read you are supposed to distribute evenly between the balls of feet and heels.

but I don't know shit and could very well be wrong.

It seemed when I did them flat-footed yesterday, I got more of a quad workout. When I did them on the balls of my feet, I got a good quad workout, but also felt it in my calves.

Balls of the feet adds stress to your knees, which you don't want
