If it can't remove everything it finds right away, and it needs to reboot to remove the rest of the problem files, should I reboot into Safe Mode or normal mode?

I never had a problem just rebooting to normal mode. I guess you could reboot to safe mode just to be sure if you want..

The reason the question came to mind is because I don't want to reboot into normal mode in case the spyware turns out to be not completely uninstalled, but I don't want to reboot into safe mode in case the remove-on-reboot process isn't going to run in safe mode.

This is for my mother's computer, btw. She got the Vundo spyware from icanhascheezburger.com

Normal mode is fine, I've never had problems with it getting it all out in normal mode on reboot.
