Many people have sleeves and leg tattoos.

My question is, what if your tattoo has been with you (already healed, not fresh) and you get a scratch or a cut on your skin where the tattoo is. Will it damage the work (ink)? Or if you let it heal properly, will it be like it was?

i've had plenty of scratches on my work, and they just heal over. something heavier though - i.e. serious skin breaking, i've seen just scar through, more than likely need touch up//fix ups done on it, but it does depend a lot on the injury

It's a small little nick that caused a small scab... as if you scratched yourself with your nails kinda thing.

Won't affect it at all. You need to go deeper into the layers of skin where the pigment is set for it to do any damage.

Is it skin tone now? Or is it still bright pink? If it's skintone you should have no problem covering it over.
