Will optimum polish by hand be enough to remove minor swirls or do i need to try a machine? I'm afraid a machine will eat up my thin subaru paint and the swirls are pretty faint.

On a side note, i tried out Opti-Seal for the first time on my wife's altima. The car hadn't been wash in a year and never waxed (its an 06) so i washed, clayed, opti-sealed, and hit with the OCW...man did it look good! I know, no pics, but i forgot the camera saturday and its been raining since. :hs:

If you are working by hand I would use Megs ScratchX. That stuff works pretty well by hand... it's just a really really SLOOOOOWWW process.

PC or UDM (Ultimate Detailing Machine) is the way to go.
