    Ok so I'm going to be running 4GB of DDR2 800mhz ram / AMD 5000+ dual core processor / nvidia 8800GT 512 MB card / 250GB HD / CD/DVD Burner..

How strong of a power supply should I be running all of this on? I'm thinking 500W?

    Thanks in advance!

quality power supply with 400W-500W total watts, 24amps on the +12V rail minimum.

That quality of the PSU has more to do with it than wattage. A quality 350W could power that without problem, but if you get some cheap shitty one you're going to need a lot more.

first one sucks because it doesn't have 6+2 pin PCI-E for future cards. just fine for an 8800GT though.
