Should I mask off the hood stripes on my car, (Mini Cooper S Bonnet Stripes) or is it ok to just go over them with the OS?

    You mean Opti-Seal, right?

I haven't had any issues using OS over hood stripes.

OS will be fine on the stripes. You can also use it on the wheels, glass, and exterior plastic trim.

Had a lot going on. Lost my mom in August after a 6 month battle with cancer. Kinda took it's toll on me. Didn't do much talking or posting. Sorry. Hey.......I'll call you later ok?

:uh: Yeah, Opti-Seal. That's how good it works, when I think if it I always think SHINE.

    Thx for the info.

Opti-Seal is a really great product. Once you start using it you need to stay dedicated to it because IMO, it has a high learning curve. Not because it's a tough product but because it's different that what we are trained to use. It takes practice since you have to use so little and there is nothing to haze.

Great looks and durability coupled with an extreme ease of use (once mastered) make this a valuable LSP.

I used it on my M3 and had no issue at all. I followed scott's advice on how to use a little. Pretty easy stuff to use.

I use OS on everything on the exterior, except the tires. Really does a great job! :bigthumb:
