Talking about everything in general, but more towards curls I guess. What percent of your max should you be curling/lifting? For example: I lift a 35lbs for curls and do 12 reps in sets of 3, each arm. I can finish each set but I'm tired on the last few reps. If I go up 5 more lbs, I can't really do it. My buddy lifts 45lbs, but I think it's way over his weight. First 'set' he'll do like 8 with the right arm, and 6 w/ the left. Next 'set' will be 4 then 2 or something. Which way is correct? I think my way is, but what % of your max should you lift on each lift? Also, you should be finishing each arm and set as well, shouldn't you?
