I have both that Comp-Tac and the Wilderness 1.5" 5-stitch. Been wearing the Comp-Tac lately, though.

Both shipped fast and thus far I have no complaints about either one.

if you're looking for leather: beltman or Aker B21

if you don't care about looks: 5.11 trainer

I like the wilderness belt better than leather ones mainly because it's a lot more adjustable.

Same comments, Aker has been good for at least 7-8 years now of daily wear. I would prefer the wilderness as well, because I remember there was a bit of testing done with it as a rigging belt, but I'm not sure if 5.11 has done the same.

Ordered a pair of Akers yesterday. Looking forward to trying out what's so highly regarded.

The only thing about the aker that I'm a little annoyed ever so often is how thick it is, ie you can't put some things that have a wimpy thin clip on your belt, or if you do it breaks quickly since it stretches the clip so much.
