Is it healthy to do cardio on the same machine every time I workout, or should I use different machines/styles?

I use the same type of bike machine for ~30mins anytime I workout between classes.

    Thanks.

word, I don't ever use the treadmill. Should I stop using the bike machine exclusively?

The reason I like the bike machine is I can chill and read a book or watch TV. Our school gym has little 15" monitors and DVD players attached to the cardio machines. Its pretty sweet, I worked out and watched WSOP all week.

BUT, I don't wanna keep doing something that is unhealthy. Like the other day my right calf muscle was sore, so I didn't work out for a day... but I don't know if its because I use the same machine every time, and make the same motions, or just because I didn't stretch out enough.
