I know that Clearkote's Quikshine is a favorite. But I am curious to know how griots quick detailer compares to Meguires quick detailer (the prof one). Also how does griots compare to Clearkote's?

Quikshine is definitely better than Meguiars #34 (final inspection). I've never tried Griots, so I don't know how they compare.

How exactly is it better? What's in Quikshine that makes it superior to #34?

    1. Better gloss
    2. Much slicker feel to the paint
    3. Works better on glass than Rain-X
    4. Very lubricious-doesn't start drying immediately
    5. Seems to take less product to QD

I can get #34 for $18 a gallon and Quikshine is $38 plus $8 for shipping and I am willing to spend more than twice the price for Quikshine-even though in a detailing business, I got through it quickly.
