Quick 80 carbs...

    Have any of you guys seen the new Knorr/Lipton pasta sides? It's basically pasta with flavoring, cooks in 8 minutes and for a quick rundown it has:

    640 calories
    80 carbs
    16 protein

    I got 7 packs. They look good and I can prob eat them alot more often than plain ass tasting rice/pasta.

    1620 mg for the entire thing, it says it's 74% of the daily intake needed. I eat plain nasty ass tasting shit all day so I wouldnt think I'd go over 125% of what they recommend.

    Lots of salt no matter how I look at it.

    Edit: looked at the other packets, the best ones says it's only 50% of the daily amount you should take in.

    SteveO, do you mean what else is used to make the pasta?

    1.5 cups of water
    .5 cup of milk
    1 tbsp of butter

    Reading the contents and it looks like alot of the calories may be coming from the parmesan cheese, romano cheese, cheese cultures, whey, cream cheese....it's the alfredo pack.

    Total fat is 4.5 grams, 9.0 grams for the entire pack.

    I was just curious how it came out to 640. I guess it includes these ingredients too

    The best pasta ever is Barilla Plus spaghetti.
    Ingredients- Semolina, grain and legume flour blend (lentals, chick peas, oats, spelt, barley, egg whites, ground flaxseeds and wheat fiber) Niacin, ferrous lactate, thimine, mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid.

    Per only 2 oz
    200 cals
    1g of fat
    38g carbs
    4 g of fiber
    10 g of protien

    I can eat it raw and it tastes alright but if you just put some fuking chicken and pasta sauce it tastes so great!!!!!!111!!1

    I just use regular spaghetti w/ chicken or tuna plus pasta sauce. I'm trying alfredo sauce tonight though

    Wow, I never even thought about eating pasta raw, you are fucking hardcore.

    Does this stuff taste better than that shitty whole wheat pasta?

    He also puts eggs in his shakes, so I wouldn't suggest following his advice

    Too late, I just tried some raw angel hair pasta. It was pretty good. I'll bring a box to work tomorrow for snacking on instead of the usual sun chips. :coold:

    Whats wrong with putting eggs in my shakes. Now i've been putting 3 or 4 in there.

    haha oh and i didn't mean that i eat it uncooked. I cook it but just eat it plain. Sorry about that.
