Alright, I'm reinstalling windows xp and I want to do it correctly this time. I'm not interested in nix or vista at this point. I'm going to be purchasing one, maybe two hard drives this weekend. The 60g hard drive I've got running windows is probably 6 years old, the install is a couple years old. Should I relegate this drive to non essential info? It's a Maxtor. I also have a 120g drive.

Should I have windows on its own drive?

Should I set up RAID? I don't need RAID for the windows install, but I don't have a good backup solution running at the moment. I can backup to the 120g, or an external 60g I have lying around. What's a good online backup storage service?

What do I need to do or keep in mind before I make a image of the drive?

A ton of questions, I know. Thanks for your help!
