questions about weekly routine

    which of the following workout routines do you guys think would have better benefits in terms of getting lean and defined?

    1. working out 3 times a week, each work out session will include 1 exercise
    for each major muscle.

    2. working out 3 times a week,
    monday - chest, shoulders, triceps. (3 exercises each)
    wednesday - back, biceps. (3 exercises each)
    saturday - quads, hamstrings, calves. (3 exercises each
