I have two HD's in my comp, a 120MB 7200RPM 8MB cache Western Digital as my main and a 100MB 7200RPM IBM which I use as mainly storage.

Will putting the pagefile on the second HD increase performance? I also have both drives on the same IDE channel and my DVD and CDRW on the other.

Thanks in advance for any comments or tips :)

1st of all, your hard drives are small at 120MB and 100MB ;)

i havent seen any performance differance with my page file on either of my hdds, but then i dont use XP and have 512 ram.

some ppl have their ide set up like this. (so do i)

    0:0 - pri hdd
    0:1 - burner
    1:0 - sec hdd
    1:1 - dvd

i find it burns faster cd to cd. but that could be cause im on crack

Arange the drives like cyberbullets said. And it would make more sense to put the swap file on the second, less frequently used drive.
