I am switching from Intel to Amd. Do I need to reformat so that I do not get conflicting drivers issues from the old MoBo. I just reformated about a month ago asd really don't want to do it again. Thanks, Corey

Normally it is highly recommended you reformat when changing motherboards because of the large number of drivers necessary for the different components on the motherboard. In this case you are also switching to entirely different architectures. I believe a reformat is almost required in this situation. Your starting point and ending point are so different, Windows would probably blow chunks trying to boot up with the new hardware.

You'll run into more issues trying to run the new equipment on an old Windows install than if you just went ahead and formatted again.
