I'm looking for a new frame for my LS1 swap project and saw a 944 in the junkyards. just 3 questions really:

1)what's the curb weight of a stock 944
    2) what's the dimensions of the engine bay (very important)
    3) how wide is the rear?

I'm probably going to do a LS1 w/T56 and the rear end from a 2001 TA

Failure of all Porsches? :ugh: They stopped making them because their "entry" level cars were beating the rest of the models across the board - including the mighty 911's.

50/50 balance, awesome power, bulletproof block, lightweight chassis, and classic looks aren't a failure.

And more importantly, you're getting your opinion from supercars.net? :ugh:  Good luck with THAT move :fawk:
