I'm going to a gym tomorrow(never been) and plan to pay $200 for a year. Does this include personal trainers there showing me how to use machines? Or is that extra? Probably a dumb question.

Ask them when you sign up, if they dont show you everything, keep a watchful eye for others using (dont stare, lol).

Hardest part about going to the gym if youve never been there is GETTING THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE lc. everythings downhill from there

I think most gyms might give you like 3 free lessons and help you with a routine.

Most gyms I've been to have had staff there that help out people who ask for it. Although most of them haven't exactly been fitness specialists.

$200 for a year i'm gonna go out on a limb and say personal trainers aren't included for $17 a month
