    I have a gridview on an ASP.NET web app and I wrote some crude vb to delete an entry in a database when a button is pushed. When the row is deleted the gridview doesn't reflect the change. Is there a command I can insert with the delete button that will force the page to refresh to show the recent change?

    after you row is deleted, depending on how you are doing your binding, you can call:

    MyGridView.DataBind();

    which should give it a refresh
