MIL Question regarding covers

    We all know that you take your cover off when entering a building (when in uniform, unless you are carrying a weapon....i think) but how does that apply to civilian clothes.

    in the DFAC.

    on a Sunday?

    bingo. in the navy you remove your cover on the mess decks of the ship regardless of what your wearing unless you are ships security

    for civilians and military it is customary to remove your hat or cover anytime you enter any govt building

    Yeah probably im a squadron guy so Ive only seen ships security do it. im usually only down there for about 10 min then its back to the roof
