Question regarding a lagging bodypart...please help

    The strength in my left bicept is lagging compared to that of my right. If want to do a set of 6 heavy curls, I can do 4 with the left, and probably 6 with the right. I try to add extra reps for my weak arm, but it doesn't seem to be working as my bicep will just fail from overuse. Any tips on helping a lagging muscle catch up?

    I have bad knees so I don't squat.

    Basically to try to keep your bodyparts caught up, if you can only do 4 reps with your left keep your right side to 4 reps also even if it can hammer out another 3 or 5.

    You doing curls with sets of 6 makes my tendons hurt from here.

    Thanks. My orthopaedic surgeon told me that 2 knee surgeries at the age of 23 means i have to let the squatting go.
