I have been reading on the AWB sunsed in 2004, and I have a general question. According to the AWB an assault weapon is one classified as being able to accept a detatchable magazine and having one or more of the following : Folding or telescopic stock
Pistol grip protruding conspicuously beneath the stock
    Bayonet mount
    Flash suppressor or threaded barrel
    Grenade launcher

(this was taken from awbansunset.com) So my question is, when the ban sunsets and if the Fed decides not to renew it, Will I be able to legally add a telescoping stock and threaded barrel to my post ban bushmaster??

    Yes.

Provided they don't renew/extend/replace the law.

Well, with a little luck, there are enough people in the right places now that the most pointless parts of the ban might be left out of an extension.

i'd like to at least see stocks that fold to the minimum OAL and flash hiders, which were banned solely on the premise that the person you're shooting at can't see the flash of your muzzle.
