I sent an email to the previous owner of my bmw to ask him what he used on the car when he detailed below is his answer?

HOW does his combo compare to the Jeff's werkstatt combo that i purchased.

I purchased the following for the following uses:

Prime - cleaner and to smooth out the paint! and to add some depth...(paint is in good condition anyways)
Acrylic Jett - as a sealant
Acrylic Jett Trigger - as a spray on sealant/quick detailer after washes

i'll most probably clay the car to remove all the wax/sealant on there b4 i proceed with the above combo.

I was going to apply the prime by PC...and work that it till its gone. then let it sit over night and then apply the acrylic jett sealant by hand.

just wanna make sure i can get the best shine for my buck :)

i'm a newb to the jeff's werkstatt products.

Also can i top the the acrylic jett once in a while between washes with a coat of meguiars nxt or no? would it help it or hurt it or not make a difference?

    thanks! :)

Werkstatt will have a deeper, wetter look.

I don't top Werkstatt, I like the look as is.

    okay sweet :)

can't wait to try it out when i get it! :)

and it looks like werkstatt is strictly for shine! so i can still use the optimum compound for light swirl removal right?

Yes, polish out defects with Optimum and finish with Prime and AJ.

Im going to get getting some Werkstatt to do my buddies Subaru with for his Summer detail. Lord knows he thrashed the shit out of it over the winter.

Taking a dirt crusted car through a brushed auto car wash. I nearly shot him in the face when he told me that.
