GUN question on guns

    Is this the right forum? There are so many.

    I enjoy shooting sporting clay. Do you recommend I purchase a gun that I'll use forever, or get a starter and move up. I've been familiar with guns/shot since I could walk.

    I like the Browning Cynergys but damn, there are like 400 of them.

    If you already know how to shoot then I don't see any reason not to buy exactly what you want.

    A Stoeger Condor is a lot of gun for the money and something that you could let friends borrow when you move up. On the other hand, if you shoot quite a bit already then there's no real reason not to get yourself a nice shotgun that will stand up to a lot of action.

    A good firearm can be passed down to your kids and kids kids... Don't need to spend thousands, but buy one, buy right.

    I used a Browning OU to shoot skeet for my first time a couple weeks ago. Man, that piece was a work of art, too bad I don't have the $1400 to get one. :(
