I ride freestyle BMX almost everyday (at least 5 days a week) and have been hitting the gym a lot recently...On wednesdays i do chest/tri and find myself with completley dead arms for the rest of the day...I usually ride at night, and im finding out that having a drained body is really interfering with my riding. My question is, what types of foods can i eat after the gym to replenish my body before i hit the skateparks? As of now i live off of tuna, pb&j and i drink a couple of muscle milk shakes post workout. thanks in advance for all of the helpful replies im sure to get! :):x:

what about just focusing on your schedule--can you lift after riding? the other thought is on your 2 days off from riding--make those your arm days.

I used to do urban riding every day, but I have cut it back to off days since I started lifting. You really gotta just focus on one thing, if you try to keep doing both you will have mediocre results all around.
