im wearing a comp. fit deadlift suit and the stock size had too loose of straps. got them taylored 4" shorter and now they fit real nice up top but making it very difficult to reach the bar when deadlifting. it throws my form off by putting my hips too high. is this how tight a suit should be or should i get it re-stitched?
    same question for squat suits.

getting the tightness of a DL suit is tricky....you want them to be tight enough to give you some pop but not to much were it affects your technique...

I suggest getting adjustable straps put on both suits...being able to tailor the tightness of a suit is an invaluable thing...

at my last meet I got to bloated cause my suit to be to tight and ended up straight-legging up all my attempts...needless to say I was not happy with the results...I'll be pulling raw until I get a suit with adjustable straps...

Yeah I hate deadlift suits all they do is fuck my form up plus I'm strong off the floor as it is.

Of course some people like them I guess you have to find one that fits perfectly and suits your pulling style.

APC Nationals were held there last year so there must be some APC support....

There are APF meets in Vegas and Arizona on a regular basis...

WABDL also puts meets on in AZ iirc..

Mendelson only throws one meet a year whereas uspf has about a dozen a year.

I am guessing you pull conventional, if so, just do allot of work in the suit, the straps will probably loosen up a bit from it stretching, it takes allot for me to get my straps of my dead lift suit up.
