I was reading that with GVT,german volume training you only increase the weight once you can do 10 reps with the same weight for all 10 reps. law of repeated efforts, then you increase the weight by 2.5 or 5 percent and do the same only increasing until you can then do 10 reps for all 10 sets. in regards to optimized volume training, c. Thibaudeau says that load progression is KEY. now is he saying that to increase load every week? or until you can do 5 reps for all 5 sets? i know he said the superset isnt so much important since its purpose is for volume. i am a little confused. when do you add weight? when you can do all 5 sets with 5 reps? or each week because i think it would be hard to add 5 lbs to my bench lets say every week.
